Jobs impact all our lives, with the average person changing roles 12 times during their career. Yet moving jobs isn't easy; with CVs to write, Job Postings to find, and applications to fill in, there are several steps before Job Seekers meet Employers, all of which take considerable time and effort.
Unfortunately, the recruitment industry has done little to ease this process, especially for job seekers, where the focus is on quantity over quality of applicants. A side effect of which, is an increase in the filtering market, led by AI-backed solutions.
This results in candidates feeling disengaged and alienated, so many either give up or adopt a scattergun approach to achieving their next position. For employers, this means increased cost, increased time, and missing out on potential candidates.
However, it doesn't need to be like this; by tweaking the basic recruitment formula, we have the opportunity to provide a clean and fresh approach to matching. A process where both parties feel supported and informed and where tools are provided to automate administration. A place where humans can focus on engaging, interacting, and making the right hiring decision.
